Argent Champions – two in one!

The Argent Dawn has always been one of my favorite factions in WoW. I always enjoyed doing their chains (oh god Araj chain!) and was very pleased that they returned in WotLK as the Argent Crusade. Seriously, my biggest WoW regret is not playing during the Scourge Invasion and not obtaining the tabard and regalia. However, moving to the server Argent Dawn re-inspired me and excited me about the Argent universe, and made me create these little two outfits.

First set will be Cloth , and sadly, mostly for priests.
I came up with it because I’m pretty tired of priest tiers only being robes, and the wonderful pants are left unnoticed. I played around with tier 5, tier 13, and a tier 6 recolor, and paired it up with an Argent tabard, and this was the final (and lovely!) result:

This will be the “flashier” of the two. I really loved the tier 5 pants and wanted to include them in this, I believe the golden lining from the tabard goes very well with it. I tried to find a dagger which wouldn’t show Power Torrent or any enchant, this was the one of the few that sort of matches. I’ve also been in love with this hoodie since I first won it in BT, so I had to use it. (it is also NOT class restricted, so you can use it if you’re not a priest!) Of course, the Argent Champion title is a must!

Head: Cowl of Benevolence

Chest: Soulcloth Vest (because there’s no chest I could find that matches, so I’m using a very bare one with a shirt)
Shirt: Stylish Black Shirt
Hands: Heroes’ Handwraps of Faith
Belt: Zandalar Confessor’s Bindings (gone from the game, but recolors exist, or any other dark belt)
Legs:  Leggings of the Avatar

Misc:

Dagger: Perdition’s Blade
Off-hand: Beacon of Hope
Tabard: Argent Crusader’s Tabard

Second set is Plate, less flashy, simpler, and easy to obtain by any plate wearer.
I kind of always knew that my Paladin will be Argent-involved, so I got her the title very early in the leveling. Farmed Stratholme forever, but was worth it in the end, cuz she was an Argent Champion. The set was very much based on the shoulders, and actually it was more Argent Dawn than Crusade. It looked more like the old guards did. The shield too brings an old-school vibe. Welp, here it is:

I don’t currently have a mount to go with this set, but either way, here’s some more pics of it in action!
